Our Pilot Project
Transitional Housing is a temporary housing project — an initiative of Founder WorkRoom. It highlights the underlying and inevitable correlation between job insecurity and homelessness.
It aims to create a safe community by alleviating crimes and poverty. It focuses on housing Canadians 40 years of age and older, willing to return to work or upskill. They must have a maximum income of $30K per annum.
These members of the society are susceptible to homelessness (or may have already one), and are likely to retire soon. Before they hit retirement, we would like to maximise their productivity to the economy.
We are now testing the pilot project, and we are currently looking for partners. There are three ways to support our goals:
- Fill out the one-minute, ten-question survey. This will help us better understand your thoughts on homelessness especially in your neighbourhood;
- Share our website with your network. This will raise awareness of the solutions we have up our sleeves. It will allow more participants to join our project. As well, it will generate more partnerships; or
- Donate today. All proceeds will go to the development of the pilot project.
